Frequently asked
When should I see a gynaecologist?
Common reasons include irregular or painful periods, changes in discharge, pelvic or abdominal pain, contraception advice, a routine check-up, planning a pregnancy, or difficulty conceiving. A consultation is also reasonable simply to ask questions.
What happens at a first consultation?
A conversation about your history and what brought you in, followed by an examination if it is appropriate and you are comfortable. Scans or laboratory tests are arranged only where they would change what is advised. Nothing is done without explaining it first.
Is a woman doctor available?
Yes. Consultations are led by Dr. Aishwarya Yerram, and female nursing staff are present throughout any examination.
Do I need an appointment?
An appointment is preferred so you are seen without a long wait, and can be made by phone or WhatsApp on +91 89770 23211. Urgent concerns are accommodated wherever possible.
What does a consultation cost?
Consultation fees are explained when you book, and any test or procedure is quoted before it is carried out. There are no charges you have not been told about in advance.
